Bluebonnet Pictures

Last week we were able to take advantage of one of the nice days to go take some bluebonnet pictures.  We actually went to the same field that we happened upon last year.  Last year we just happened to be up in the Plano area with time to kill and found this field.  At the time we had no plans of living in Plano-- our house was on the market but we had a house down the street ready to put an offer on once all the pieces came into place.  Of course that all fell apart and we spent a few months last year unsure of where we'd end up.  It was just a really fun moment when this field ended up being 2 miles from our house now.  Something only God knew when we went last year and nothing we ever would have anticipated, but a small reminder of all the ways He takes care of us.

We started with a picnic dinner and then started some pictures.  It was right before sunset so we got lots of light on these pictures.

After a few of those, we headed to the other side of the small hill to catch a little shade.  This is how Cooper felt about stopping to take pictures when he just wanted to walk on the trail:

Daddy to the rescue of pretending to fall off a chair over and over to get some smiles.

Love this sweet silly boy of mine!

And of course a look back at all the years of bluebonnet pictures:
