Friday was our first full day at the beach. We were there with my mom and her friend Friday morning and were waiting for the rest of our family to arrive later in the day.
My mom kept us well fed during our trip! Friday morning we had egg casserole for breakfast. Cooper ate some banana bread on the kitchen counter while we waited for it to cook.
Then we got ready and headed down to the beach!!
As soon as we hit the sand, Cooper found a shovel and started digging and playing. He was having a grand old time.
Then he realized there was water to splash in and it didn't take long for him to make his way down there. He walked straight into the water and when it came and splashed on him, he sat down in it and just laughed and smiled. He played for a few minutes and then needed a break. We went back up to the beach to visit with my mom.
Then he was ready to go back to splashing. The sun had come out so we put on hats and headed down.
Daddy splashed with him and helped him endure the splashing waves. His smile was on his face the whole time!
We only stayed down at the beach for about an hour before it was time for lunch and Cooper's nap, but we were all pretty worn out even just after that hour. So after nap we just stayed in the condo and let Cooper play with toys.
My Aunt and her granddaughter got to the condo late afternoon and started dinner. She made queso and Cooper was a huge fan. He carried around his bowl and once it was almost gone, he stuck his face in it to finish it all off! The rest of the evening we ate dinner and relaxed at the condo with family. It was a great first full day of vacation!
