May iPhone Rewind

May brought a lot of things for us-- end of the year for all of our weekly activities (CBS, ESL, MOPS, Kids Pointe Apartment Ministry) as well as selling our house, packing, playdates, and a new apartment.  This is also being typed up on our new computer.  We bought a computer one year ago and it has been nothing but trouble.  It's currently being worked on to fix it, but we figured in the meantime we wanted to go ahead and get something better and then use our not so awesome computer as a backup.  So we bought our very first MacBook-- I'm sure there will be a learning curve, but we're excited about it.  And now a look back at some random moments in May...

We had our final class at CBS (Community Bible Study) and the kids classes perform the songs they've learned during the year.  Cooper's class didn't make it to the performance in December so this was his first time on stage.  He knows all the songs and sings them at home, but he spent the whole performance looking at me saying "Hi Mommy" over and over again-- at least he didn't cry!

We love playdates with our buddy AJ!

In the midst of all of our house chaos, I was reading the book The Next Right Thing by Emily P Freeman.  I'm not sure that I loved all of the book, but this was from the very last chapter and it felt timely in the midst of our season of uncertainty and feeling like we'd made the wrong decision and ruined our entire lives (dramatic much?).

Cooper was a trooper while we looked at lots of apartments figuring out where to live.  But once he realized we got to ride in golf carts to get to the buildings to tour he was completely on board.  This sweet agent even let him help drive.

The best we could get at the photo station at church on Mothers Day

Pajamas, Rain boots, a ball, and his water--All ready to go play with the McCullough twins ;)

Cooper also took swimming lessons all of this month.  He is learning to swim and roll over to float and is getting better every time.  He wore this wetsuit for a few times while he was learning to float, but now he is doing well without it.

Breakfast at Rudy's with my matching Texas Rangers boys.

My mom kept C&P for a night so we surprised Cooper by meeting cousins for breakfast before church that weekend.

We have lots of pictures of the random things Cooper has explored with his newfound freedom in his toddler bed, but one of my favorites was finding him snuggled with the nasal aspirator that he found on his changing table shelves.  So random the things he finds interesting!
