So it's been a not-so-great week. There has just been a lot of stuff going on and it's been busy and frustrating at times. I spend a lot of time in my car every day/week so my music is often changing and can really effect my mood and my outlook.
Earlier this week, I downloaded some music from Francesca Battistelli and have been listening to it pretty much nonstop.
Many times this week this song has been blasting in my car:
I lost my keys
in the great unknown
And call me please
'cause I can't find my phone
This is the stuff that drives me crazy
This is the stuff that's getting to me lately
In the middle of my little mess
I forget how big I'm blessed
This is the stuff that gets under my skin
But I've gotta trust You know exactly what You're doing
It might not be what I would choose
But this is the stuff You use
45 in a 35
sirens and fines
when I'm running behind
This is the stuff that drives me crazy
This is the stuff that getting to me lately
In the middle of my little mess
I forget how big I'm blessed
This is the stuff that gets under my skin
But I've gotta trust You know exactly what You're doing
It might not be what I would choose
But this is the stuff You use
To break me of impatience
Conquer my frustrations
I've got a new appreciation
It's not the end of the world
This is the stuff You use
So when my already not-so-great week ended with me getting in a wreck on the way home from work this evening, I had to remind myself that a wreck with no damage to me and minimal damage to my car is NOT the end of the world.
