A quick re-cap from August:
* I spent the first week in Managua, Nicaragua with a team from our church. Our team updates can be found here if you're interested. It was a really great trip--one that I'm still processing through
* I was home for about 3 days and then Lily and I packed up to spend a week house-sitting and dog-sitting for my sister-in-law's parents. It was a pretty relaxing weekend there
*My friend Katie and I went to the Brad Paisley concert (for her birthday, I bought tickets) only for it to be cancelled due to rain. Boo.
* My sweet nephew Chase turned 1 on August 30! A post will be coming about his party this past weekend
And that's about it. Now September is here... and if the 100 degree temperatures would go away things would be awesome
